The Washington Township Community Association is a non-profit organization that is compiled of a group of dedicated people in Western Pennsylvania that formed 30 years ago to promote the heritage of their small country communities of Fryburg and Marble. W. T. C.A. organizes and hosts two events. The first is MAYFEST, which occurs during the Memorial Day weekend and the other is Light the Night which is held on the first Saturday in December.
Goals of this Association is to provide a wide variety of free and inexpensive, family oriented activities and entertainment while celebrating these holidays. The Association is able to do this with the help of donations and grants from our local supporters and sponsors.
**This year we are extending the invitation an extra day to celebrate our forefathers On Sunday, May, 30, 2021. . Our 2020 celebration was canceled due to the Coronavirus 19 pandemic. Come enjoy the special events planned for 200 YEARS OF FRYBURG, 1820-2020 to commemorate the milestones and hard work of previous generations that made this town what it is today. Come enjoy the festivities!
