Mark Beichner has been chosen as year's Grand Marshal for the Grand Slam Celebration Parade! A lifelong resident of Washington Township and a proud North Clarion High School graduate started his married life with Theresa in 1984. They are the proud parents of four wonderful children Joshua and Allison Beichner, Bethany and Dale Gatesman, Lyssa and Bill Ledbetter, Michael and Sharon Beichner along with an amazing group of grandkids—Jonah Beichner, Gus, Finn, June Gatesman, Lincoln and Leo Ledbetter, Silas, and Dorothy Beichner.

Mark is the co-owner of Sandy Ridge Farm with his brother and holds positions as a Washington Township supervisor chairman and Municipal Authority chairman, as well as the Vice Chairman of the Lake Lucy Sewage Authority. He is a dedicated member of Saint Michael's Church and has played an essential role on the Mayfest Committee, helping to shape the event into the community celebration we all have come to enjoy. In earlier years, Mark had wagon rides for all to enjoy the Mayfest festivities.  It was Mark's vision to have the first Mayfest Parade in 2004. Mark handed the reins over to Co-Chairs Gabrelle Caldwell and Karlie Groner in 2026.

In his downtime, Mark loves and enjoys quality moments with family and friends!
